Between the Fondamenta dei Pennini canalside walkway and Calle dei Corazzeri, behind Campo San Martino square, this calle (street) takes its name from the «pestrin»: a dairyman who processed and sold milk and dairy products. The trade was so widespread that Venice has at least three calli del Pestrin: at Santa Maria Formosa, at Santo Stefano and here, in Castello della Bragora.
