On the Grand Canal, in Cannaregio between the Rio della Maddalena (a Venetian canal) and the Rio di Noale, Palazzo Ruoda — also known as Ruoda-Boldù, after the two family names of its former residents — stands at number 2256 in Corte Bragadin (a Venetian courtyard). It is one of those palaces Venice reveals only from the water: on the land side, you enter from the unassuming corte, while the whole façade faces the canal.
