On the Grand Canal, just beyond Palazzo Pisani Gritti and facing the Salute, the pale mass of Palazzo Flangini-Fini marks the final stretch of the canal towards San Marco. Its classical-looking façade tells a distinctly Venetian story: in the 17th century, two old Gothic buildings were joined by two Greek fiscal lawyers, Tommaso Flangini and Girolamo Fini, with the final work entrusted to Alessandro Tremignon around 1688.
