On the Grand Canal, between Palazzo Gaggia and the small Palazzetto Contarini Fasan, stands a mid-15th-century Gothic palazzo, which old guidebooks simply call Palazzo Contarini, with pointed arches typical of the 15th century. From the water, its perfectly symmetrical façade is built around two central four-light windows, with flower-shaped ornaments, dentilled cornices and leafy capitals.
