On the corner of Campo Santa Maria Mater Domini (a Venetian square) and Calle della Chiesa (a Venetian street), at no. 2180, Casa Leoni links two ages in the literal sense: its pointed-arch mullioned windows date from the 15th century, while other parts of the house are Renaissance work from the 16th century. This is how Venice built: no dramatic demolitions, just updates, one window at a time.
