One of the smallest campi in Venice, wedged between the church and the houses behind Rialto: Campo San Giovanni Crisostomo is little more than the churchyard of Codussi’s church, so tight that the façade cannot be looked at frontally. The church owes its name to a rare relic of the great orator of Constantinople that arrived in the lagoon from the East.
