A suspended curve marks the threshold between the motor terminal and the pedestrian landscape of Venice. It is the Ponte della Costituzione, often called the Calatrava bridge: it links Piazzale Roma to Santa Lucia station and crosses the Grand Canal. Every day different flows meet here: commuters, travellers with luggage and visitors entering the historic centre.
