The Ponte dei Sartori, an iron bridge with scrolled railings, crosses the short rio dei Gozzi (a rio is a small canal) between the Salizada del Spezier (one of Venice’s first paved streets) and the Fondamenta dei Sartori (a canalside walkway), a stone’s throw from the Campo dei Gesuiti.
