At the foot of the Ponte del Fontego, in the heart of Castello, this palace presents its façade on the rio di Santa Giustina with the quiet confidence of a house that has nothing to prove. Venetians call it “dalla Sbarra”, after the diagonal band crossing the Morosini coat of arms. The family was one of the Serenissima’s most powerful, with a presence in this parish since at least the 13th century.
