At numbers 2214–2217 on Strada Nova, where the city’s main pedestrian thoroughfare meets the route towards Campo Santa Fosca, this Correr palazzo tells a story in two parts. The older section preserves its 15th-century Venetian pointed-arch core, with a characteristic pitched roof — a rare sight in Venice, where palazzi usually hide their roofs behind cornices and altane (roof terraces).
