It looks like a film set: a miniature Venetian palace, white and red three-light windows, four ogival portals and lettering in huge capital letters — TEATRO ITALIA. Yet inside people do their shopping: it is the supermarket of the Campiello de l’Anconeta, the one many call the most beautiful in Italy, where you buy fruit beneath a frescoed ceiling.
