Between the Rio di San Luca and Palazzo Tron, on the left side of the Grand Canal, this small palazzo in flamboyant Gothic was erected around 1445 for Jacopo Corner dal Banco — on the site of a palazzo that in 1310 had been branded with the ’mark of infamy’ for the conspiracy of Baiamonte Tiepolo.
