Between the rio (a Venetian canal) Michiel and the rio di San Luca, on the bank of the Grand Canal that looks towards Rialto, Palazzo Querini Benzon looks like a façade like many others: sober, almost without ornaments, rebuilt in the 18th century over a Gothic predecessor and lengthened in 1897 by one floor too many.
