On the Grand Canal, tucked between Palazzo Balbi and Palazzo Civran Grimani, this little palazzo looks like one of the many grand 17th-century façades along the bank. In fact, it is one of the canal’s newest palazzi: the 14th-century building, which had survived in a late-17th-century form, was almost entirely rebuilt in 1956 to a design by the architect Angelo Scattolin.
