Past the Ponte dell’Arsenale, the bank running towards the Ponte della Veneta Marina is the Fondamenta di San Biagio, the canalside walkway Venetians call Riva San Biasio. It takes its name from the church of San Biagio, also known as ’ai Forni’ (’of the ovens’).
