One of the most photographed fondamente (canalside walkways) in Dorsoduro runs along the rio di San Trovaso, between the campo of the church of Santi Gervasio e Protasio and the Zattere, in a place once called the Borgo di San Trovaso: the name survives in the Ponte di Borgo, which joins the fondamenta to that of the Ognissanti.
