Intimate Campo San Tomà (square), with its well in the middle and café tables outside, is a long-distance dialogue between two façades: the classicising front of the church, rebuilt in the 18th century by Bognolo and crowned by Cabianca’s group of the Incredulity of St Thomas, and opposite it the Gothic façade of the Scoletta dei Calegheri, the shoemakers’ guildhall.
