Campiello Barbaro, a small square tucked between the Salute and the Guggenheim Collection, lies in the shade of the gardens of two celebrated palaces, Ca’ Dario and Palazzo Barbaro. It takes its name from the latter, at number 351. The Barbaro were one of Venice’s oldest and most distinguished families.
