A short calle of Santa Croce that runs behind the campo of San Zan Degolà, in one of the quietest and least frequented corners of the city. The name comes from the votive capitello (shrine) still preserved on the wall: a niche in Istrian stone and brickwork, protected by a small wrought-iron gate, lined inside with sky-blue and gold mosaics — a rare ornament for a street altar — that shelters a print of St Anthony of Padua with the book.
