A calle (a Venetian lane) in the inner part of Castello, between Via Garibaldi and the Fondamenta di Sant’Anna (a fondamenta is a canalside walkway), with its own corte (courtyard) and its three rami (side branches). The name comes from the Correr family: Tassini notes that the N. H. Polo Correr owned various houses in Corte Correra in 1661, and that Castello can be said to have been the family’s cradle.
