Between Ca’ Rezzonico and Palazzo Giustinian Bernardo, opposite Palazzo Grassi, this 16th-century palazzo is attributed to Alessandro Vittoria — the sculptor-pupil of Sansovino here engaged as architect for the Bernardo family. The white façade is of an almost severe regularity: water portal, two balconied three-light windows on the central axis, pairs of single lights at the sides and two coats of arms on the second floor.
