There is a corte (a Venetian courtyard) in Castello that not even digital maps record: Corte Muazzo, hidden behind a dark sotoportego (covered passageway) opening off Calle Muazzo, a stone’s throw from the busy Barbaria delle Tole yet as silent as a cloister.
