A quiet campo (square) in Castello, a stone’s throw from the Arsenal, where the church that gave it its name no longer stands. Here rose the Santissima Trinità — which the Venetians, as usual, mangled into ’Ternita’ — founded in the 11th century by the Celsi and Sagredo families and demolished in 1832 after decades of neglect.
