The Ponte San Francesco, also known as ‘del Nunzio’, crosses the rio (a Venetian canal) de San Francesco de la Vigna in Castello, between the Campiello de la Chiesa and the Ramo al Ponte. It is the last step before the large campo (square) of San Francesco della Vigna. The bridge is built of brick and stone, with rendered parapets and three coats of arms of the Provveditori di Comun on its side.
