The Merceria di San Giuliano—Marzaria San Zulian—is the central stretch between Campo San Zulian (a Venetian square) and the Ponte dei Bareteri: a straight street with no side streets and an unbroken line of shop windows. The shops of the marzeri (Venetian cloth and goods merchants) carry on a commercial tradition described in the card about the Mercerie.
