Between Palazzo Priuli-Bon and Palazzo Duodo, almost opposite the San Stae stop, the unbroken line of palazzi gives way to a patch of green on the Grand Canal. It is a garden where, until the mid-19th century, a palazzo stood before a fire destroyed it; it was never rebuilt. The house faced the canal, with its entrance on land near Corte (courtyard) and Calle (street) Dandolo.
