The Fondamenta Narisi is a quiet bank in the sestiere (district) of San Marco, in the parish of Sant’Angelo: it runs along the rio (a Venetian canal) that here takes the name Sant’Anzolo and, further west, Ca’ Garzoni, between the Ponte del Pestrin — the milk-seller’s bridge — and the courtyards rising towards Campo Santo Stefano.
